Firstly, I would like to thank all those families that have attended our festive events. Our nursery and reception children shared some festive songs, whilst our Y2 children performed their version of the nativity story. We are extremely proud of our children and all they have achieved this term.
Next week, we are looking forward to our final celebrations of the year. We would like to invite all children to come into school on Monday in their party clothes as we have lots of treats planned. On Tuesday, we will be having our usual festive sing song so would invite children to wear their favourite Christmas outfit too!
All families in receipt of benefit related free school meals should now have received a voucher for the Christmas break. Please contact the office if you have any issues. If you are currently in receipt of universal credit and have not received vouchers, please speak with a member of the office team to check eligibility. Likewise, if there are any families who require support at this time please speak to a member of our pastoral team.
As we come to the end of the term, we would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Harrop, who has made a huge difference to Flowery. We know how much he will be missed by our school community.
I would like to remind families that we finish for the Christmas break at 1 30 on Tuesday 19th December and return on Thursday 4th January at 8 45.
Finally, on behalf of the team at Flowery, I would like to thank you for your kind words, cards, and gifts. We are extremely touched by the kindness within our community.

IMPORTANT – Site Safety
Following the Christmas break, our playground gates will remain locked until 8 30, this includes our access on Birdcage walk. Staff will be present on both playgrounds from 8 30. Access to Rainbows will remain open.
Please note after Christmas, our gates will be manned daily and only blue badge holders will be permitted at the end of the day. If you feel you qualify but are yet to obtain your badge, please bring proof of your application.
Please can we also remind parents not to use the school car park before or after school unless you have pre-arranged an appointment.
